Garry R. Salomon

Garry. Salomon was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, where he also met his future law partners, Samuel L. Davis and Marc C. Saperstein. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law. A founding member and managing partner of Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C., with over 35 years of experience practicing personal injury law. He has successfully represented thousands of clients and won several multimillion- dollar settlements for injured clients. Mr. Salomon is truly an expert in injury law having handled claims involving motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, and truck and bus accidents. He also has experience representing workers injured on the job in construction site accidents, dram shop liquor liability law, slip trip and fall accidents, wrongful death cases, and other devastating circumstances. Mr. Salomon authored the book "The Consumer's Guide to New Jersey Personal Injury Claims". The 141-page guide assists people injured by car accidents or who suffered injuries from falls.

The book is available in English, Korean and Polish and includes a glossary of commonly used terms in personal injury cases and an appendix with summaries of relevant NewJersey law. Mr. Salomon particularly enjoys the courtroom environment and focuses on bringing cases to trial. He is quoted as saying, "An insurance company will only consider paying fair and just compensation if they see that the plaintiff is ready to let a jury decide the case; however, if an insurance company is unwilling to deal fairly with the plaintiff, then I trust a jury to decide the outcome." He believes properly preparing a case for trial will likely result ina favorable out of court settlement.Mr. Salomon has developed a deep understanding of trauma medicine, especially injuries regarding the brain and spinal cord such as quadriplegia, disk herniations and fractures. He also has a passion for representing injured children as a "pediatric injury lawyer," since their injuries often have unique characteristics. Mr. Salomon is "Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court ofNew Jersey," an honor bestowed upon less than 2% of all New Jersey lawyers. He has earned several other accolades in recognition of his legal accomplishments and devotion to clients. Organizations such as National Trial Lawyers and 201 Magazine have recognized him for his achievements.In addition, Martindale Hubble, a respected attorney peer review organization, has conferred their highest "AV" rating upon Mr. Salomon.For over 25 consecutive years, Mr. Salomon has been a member of the Board of Governors of the New Jersey Association for Justice and contributes twice yearly to legal conferences and seminars. In 1998 he co-founded and co-chaired the "Litigation at Sunrise" seminars.Mr. Salomon's past speaking engagements have included topics such as"Summation: Bringing it Home," cross examination, motorcycle accidents, adding value to personal injury cases, direct examination of chiropractors, ethics, evidence, and deposition practice.Outside of work, Mr. Salomon enjoys playing guitar, martial arts, skiing, boating, and spending time with his family.
