Keith Givens is a distinguished trial attorney based in Dothan, Alabama, known for his influential role in personal injury law and as a founding member of The Cochran Firm. A native of Alabama, Givens earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his Juris Doctor from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. Early in his career, he developed a passion for representing individuals against powerful interests, building a reputation for integrity, skill, and relentless advocacy.

Givens co-founded The Cochran Firm alongside famed attorney Johnnie Cochran, creating one of the nation's premier law firms dedicated to civil rights, personal injury, and complex litigation. As a key architect of the firm’s national expansion, he helped establish a network of top-tier attorneys committed to justice and client service. In addition to his trial work, Givens is a respected legal strategist and mentor, often sought for his insights on legal marketing and firm management.

Beyond the courtroom, Givens is deeply involved in organizing major conferences such as Mass Torts Made Perfect and the National Trial Lawyer Summi, as well as philanthropic efforts and civic initiatives in the Dothan area and throughout the Southeast. His enduring impact on the legal profession and his community underscores a career defined by leadership, shared education, compassion, and a commitment to justice.
