At the young age of 17, Mirena immigrated to the United States from Albania. She earned her degree with honors in International Relations and Communications from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. She is fluent in three languages and frequently travels between the US and Europe. Respected as a pioneer in the field of Litigation Finance, Mirena provides institutional and venture capital to law firms to enhance business operations and steadily grow their inventory to provide balanced cash flow through diversification. Over the past decade, Mirena has successfully deployed over half a billion dollars to law firms worldwide. She has worked on some of the largest class action lawsuits and mass tort settlements in the U.S., such as those related to the BP oil spill, IVC filters, mesothelioma, transvaginal mesh, RoundUp, hernia mesh, the Boy Scouts, opioids, human trafficking, the Route 91 Las Vegas shooting, military earplugs, talcum powder, and JUUL, among others.
