Wayne Hogan always struck me as somewhat enigmatic. Hugely successful as a trial lawyer, fighting against the odds for the most vulnerable of society, running for congress against a long term incumbent, his demeanour always quiet, self-effacing, and understated. In preparing for his portrait, I suggested a reference to his great support for his Alma Mater, FSU, and the public school system. His response was revealing and unequivocal: no. His core values were best represented by the Association that dedicates its resources to strengthening and upholding Florida’s civil justice  system. The Florida Justice Association does precisely that!
